Lose Stomach Flab - 5 Steps To Cut Down Stomach Flab
Stomach flab is the archenemy of many people today. It is something
that can be fought and in many cases defeated if the right approaches
are taken. Taking care of your body as well as your mind will lead
you on a trail to success when you are fighting the battle of the
belly bulge.
Five steps will aid you and get you on the right track to losing
that flab and being a better you.
1. Watch what you are putting into your mouth. Not only does the
quantity of what you eat matter, but the quality as well. Foods
that are made at home and follow strict recipes will increase your
health and reduce your fat intake dramatically. Look at what the
packaging says for nutrition information. The higher the number
next to the word fat, the worse it is for you. This is especially
if that item is high in saturated fat.
2. Consider when you will eat. Your body is your body. Know when
you will be the most active. You should not be eating just before
bedtime, as this will lead to increased flab. Remember you are not
doing any real physical activity while you are sleeping, so you
will not be burning off all of that fat and those calories that
you just put into your mouth. Consider eating smaller portions more
frequently throughout the day. It is easier to burn off five small
meals than it is to burn off three large meals.
3. Get up. Start an exercise regimen. The first thing you should
consider is a cardiovascular workout. This will get the heart working
at a faster rate and will allow you to burn more of the fat and
calories that you have taken in. Just doing 20 minutes a day, of
walking or biking will make a huge difference and get you far on
the road to redemption.
4. Begin weight training. No, you do not want to look like a body
builder, but doing some weight training exercises to aid in the
loss of body fat and the buildup of muscle tissue will help in the
elimination of the unsightly flab. Incorporating this 2-3 times,
a week with the cardio workout will increase results dramatically
and will lead to you being a better you.
5. See your doctor. Besides you, your doctor knows your body best.
They will be able to tell you what foods to eat and when better
than anyone else. Not all plans work for everyone, so make sure
that what you are doing fits in your schedule one way or another
to lead to a longer life and to lead to less flab than before.
